The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of the Diocese of Allentown is dedicated to fostering the holistic development of young people within their parish communities. Through academic and athletic programs, CYO provides opportunities for youth to deepen their relationship with God, grow in their understanding of the Church, and become responsible participants in their faith community. Rooted in the Sacramental life of the Catholic Church, CYO supports parishes in their evangelization efforts by forming faithful disciples of Jesus Christ and nurturing their transforming relationship with our Lord.
Heavenly Father, we pray for all the young people involved in CYO, that through their participation in academic and athletic programs, they may discover and grow in their relationship with You.
May Your Holy Spirit guide them to a deeper understanding of our Catholic faith and inspire them to become responsible and active members of their parish communities. Strengthen their minds and bodies, and fill their hearts with Your love, so they may always strive for excellence in all they do, both on and off the field, in their studies and in their lives.
We ask You to bless the coaches, volunteers, and all who dedicate their time and talents to CYO, that they may be instruments of Your grace, forming faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. May every CYO activity be rooted in the Sacramental life of the Church, drawing our youth closer to Your Son, our Lord. Amen.
